Lions Sign Former NFL Europa Standout QB O’Sullivan

Journeyman quarterback J.T. O’Sullivan, who has played with five teams in a six-year NFL career, has a new address as he has signed a contract with the Detroit Lions. O’Sullivan was a member of the 2005 Bears’ practice squad and most recently a standout in NFL Europa, where he led the Frankfurt Galaxy to a 7-3 mark and a spot in the NFL Eurpoa World Bowl. He was Co 2007 NFL Eurpoa Offensive MVP. He was released by the Bears back on July 7th.

O’Sullivan was drafted by New Orleans in 2002, then spent time with Green Bay, Minnesota, New England and Carolina in addition to the Bears. The team now has five QB’s on their roster as they get set for training camp to start at the end of the month.
