Lions Open Camp, Signing Two More Picks

Head coach Rod Marinelli said at his opening press conference that one of his priorities will be developing depth on both sides of the ball. The team’s second round draft picks all agreed to contracts yesterday. Quarterback Drew Stanton, defensive end Ikaika Alma-Francis, and safety Gerald Alexander are all expected to practice today. Former Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who was selected in the first round, is still unsigned.
