Quarterback Stanton To Undergo Surgery

Stanton

Lions second round draft pick Drew Stanton is expected to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery.  Stanton was injured during a practice on Saturday and has missed the last two days of camp.  The former Michigan State quarterback could miss a month, but the timing will not be determined until the surgery takes place.  The surgery will repair torn cartilage in Stanton’s right knee.  He injured the left knee four years ago at MSU.
