Lions Lose Bullocks For Season

Kitna Game-Time Decision, Drummond Gone

 
It will be a game-time decision as to whether Lions quarterback Jon Kitna will play in this weekend’s preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts.  Kitna has missed three practices because of back spasms.  He said he wants to play, but offensive coordinator Mike Martz said he doesn’t want to take any chances with his starter.

Lions QB Kitna Sits Out Of Practice

Lions starting quarterback Jon Kitna remained on the sidelines during practice.  Head coach Rod Marinelli said Kitna is day-to-day right now with back spasms and has not decided if he will play in Saturday night’s exhibition game against the Indianapolis Colts.  If Kitna can’t play this weekend, J.T. O’Sullivan will likely start.
