Johnson To Play A Lot In Lions Opener

Lions fans will see a lot of rookie wide receiver Calvin Johnson in the team’s preseason opener.  Offensive coordinator Mike Martz said Johnson will play a lot throughout the preseason.  Martz also said backup quarterbacks J.T. O’Sullivan and Dan Orlovsky will also take a lot of snaps during the preseason.  Detroit opens preseason play Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.
