Lions Open Preseason Against Cincinnati Bengals

Quarterback Jon Kitna will be able to throw to first round draft pick Calvin Johnson for the first time in a game. Former Michigan cornerback Leon Hall is expected to see action for the Bengals, who drafted him in the first round. Detroit is coming off a 3-and-13 regular season, while Cincinnati was 8-and-8 in 2006. The teams have met 33 times in the preseason overall, with the Bengals holding the advantage 18-15. Kickoff at Ford Field is 7:30 p.m.
