Lions linebacker Teddy Lehman returned to practice over the weekend. Lehman is ahead of schedule on making a comeback after injuring his shoulder and missing the first exhibition game. Coach Rod Marinelli originally ruled Lehman out of this weekend’s game against the Cleveland Browns but he could play now that he’s back practicing in pads.

Lions quarterback J.T. O’Sullivan is scheduled to take the bulk of the snaps in the preseason opener. Offensive coordinator Mike Martz said the starters will play ten-to-12 snaps in tonight’s game before the reserves take over. The Lions host the Cincinnati Bengals tonight at Ford Field at 7:30.

The Lions will open training camp practices to the general public for three upcoming days. The workouts on Friday, and next Monday and Tuesday are at the team’s facility in Allen Park.
