4th Quarter History Leads Lions to 37-27 Win

The Lions improved to 3-and-1 on the season with a 37-27 victory over the Chicago Bears at Ford Field. Detroit scored an NFL record 34 fourth quarter points in the win. The Lions’ defense picked off Chicago quarterback Brian Griese three times, returning one for a touchdown and defensive tackle Shaun Rogers blocked a field goal. Quarterback Jon Kitna finished 20-for-24 for 247 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
