Surprising Lions Travel To Maryland To Battle Redskins

The upstart Lions will head to FedEx Field to take on the refreshed Washington Redskins in Week Five.  Washington is 2-and-1 and is coming off it’s bye week.  The Redskins blew a 17-3 lead and fell to the Giants 24-17 in Week Three.  Jason Campbell is having an average season at quarterback for Washington.  Campbell has thrown for 621 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions through three games.  The Lions scored an NFL record 34 fourth quarter points to get past the Bears last week, 37-27.  Jon Kitna threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns in the win.  Defense and special teams also came up big for Detroit, with each scoring a touchdown.  Washington won 17-10 the last time these teams met in 2004 at Detroit.
