The Lions lost to the Redskins, 34-3, extending their streak to 21-games without a road win over Washington.  Detroit’s top-rated passing attack managed only 76 yards while quarterback Jon Kitna threw two interceptions and was sacked five times.  Coach Rod Marinelli called it a team loss and said he was disappointed because the Lions have been up and down from week to week.  Detroit is now 3-and-2 headed into the bye week.
