Lions Make No Trades on Deadline Day

The Lions stood pat as the NFL trade deadline came and went Tuesday.  The team did make a roster move, however, releasing linebacker Donte Curry.  Curry played in two games this season.  The Lions were back on the practice field preparing for this weekend’s game against the 4-and-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Running Back Calhoun’s Season Over

Lions running back and kick returner Brian Calhoun is out for the season due to an injured knee.  The team placed him on injured reserve on Thursday.  The Lions have re-signed kick returner Aveion Cason to take his place.

Woody and Johnson Return to Practice for Lions
