The Lions will look to keep their fading playoff hopes alive when they host the Cowboys this Sunday at Ford Field.  Detroit has dropped four straight to slip to 6-and-6 and are struggling to stay in the NFC playoff picture.  The Lions were crushed 42-10 by the Minnesota Vikings last week.  Jon Kitna passed for 260 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the loss.  Detroit will be playing without receiver Roy Williams, who is out indefinitely with a knee injury.  At 11-and-1, Dallas has the best record in the NFC and is the only team in conference to clinch a playoff berth.  The Cowboys posted a 37-27 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.  Tony Romo threw four touchdown passes as the ‘Boys won their sixth straight game.  Detroit beat Dallas 39-31 on New Year’s Eve last season.
