The Lions host the Chiefs this Sunday for a non-conference matchup at Ford Field. After starting the season 6-and-2, the Lions have dropped six in-a-row to drop out of the NFC playoff picture. Detroit was destroyed 51-14 by the San Diego Chargers last week. Jon Kitna was picked off five times in the loss. The Chiefs come in at 4-and-10 and are tied for last place in the AFC West. Kansas City lost its seventh straight game, 26-17, to the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. It is the first time the Chiefs have dropped seven consecutive games since 1987. Kansas City has won seven of 10 all-time meetings with Detroit. The Chiefs won 45-17 the last time these two teams met in 2003 at Arrowhead Stadium.
