Jones to Undergo Another Long Rehab After Tearing ACL

You have to feel for Lions running back Kevin Jones, who will have to undergo another long rehab after suffering a tear of his anterior cruciate ligament Sunday in the teams victory over the Chiefs. Rod Marinelli said Monday that the teams doctors will wait for swelling to go down before they get set on a plan to operate. The early talk is that Jones will miss the teams entire off-season program. He was hurt with 20 seconds to play in the first half when he caught a screen pass on a meaningless play and Chiefs corner Benny Sapp fell on Jones’ leg. It was just last December when Jones went down with a Lisfranc injury during the teams contest with the Vikings.
