Running back, tight end, and tackle. In that order are the offseason needs for the Lions when it comes to offense according to new offensive coordinator Jim Colletto. The new Lions hire spoke on WJR-AM on Monday night and said that the team will look to shore up those positions on offense, with the feature back coming first. Detroit News’ Mike O’Hara says that one player the Lions could look at to be their feature back is Cleveland’s Jamal Lewis. This past season for the 10-6 Browns Lewis ran for 1,304 yards, but will be a free agent in March. Colletto was the Ravens line coach from 1999-2004 when Lewis was the feature back there. It will be tough to pry Lewis away from Cleveland, but lots of cash may just do the trick.
