Good news for the Lions in the progression of QB Drew Stanton. The QB came out and on MLive.com said that his surgically repaired knee is “fully healed: and that he’ll be ready to go for mini-camps and the teams 08 training camp. Stanton is ready to compete, and should push current starter Jon Kitna for some playing time in the 08 season. Stanton is expected to work a lot with new offensive coordinator Scot Loffler, who will continue to try and make Stanton into the eventual Lions starter at QB.
