None of the Lions 13 Free Agents Will Be Re-Signed Before Free Agency

The Lions have 13 players that will hit free agency on Friday of next week, and according to head coach Rod Marinelli, all will be allowed to test the free agent waters. When asked if any would be re-signed before they became free agents, the coach said it was unlikley. “I don’t see it happening,” Marinelli said. “I think guys want to go out and test the market. They should.” The following players will be free to sign elsewhere come late next week - OL Damien Woody, LB Boss Bailey, LB Teddy Lehman, RB’s T.J. Duckett, Aveion Cason and Tatum Bell, TE John Owens, DB’s Tony Beckham, Idris Bashir, Keith Smith and Travis Fisher, offensive tackle George Foster and wide receiver Troy Walters .
