Lions Bring Back OT Foster

Today’s Detroit Free Press is reporting that the Lions have agreed to terms with OT George Foster on a one-year deal. He was brought in last season from a trade with the Broncos.  He was the starting right tackle, but then lost out on his job due to false starts and missed assignments.  He had allowed 9.5 sacks and led the league in false starts in the league through the first 10 weeks of the season.  The team didn’t have a lot of options on the market, so despite his issues, bringing Foster back was one of the best and only options the team had.
