75h Season Lions to Wear Throwback Uniforms

Tom Kowalski of Mlive.com reported the Detroit Lions will be back in the throwback uniforms for two games in 2008. Bringing back these jerseys will be a part of the Lions 75th season celebration. The Lions will have several celebratory events throughout the season including wearing the throwbacks against Jacksonville at home on November 9 and on Thanksgiving Day against the Tennessee Titans. The throwback uniforms are blue jerseys with silver numbers, a plain silver helmet, silver pants and socks and black shoes.
