The Lions have inked first round draft pick Gosder Cherilus to a five-year deal according to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter as well as the Detroit Free Press. The Free Press says the deal was reached after 9pm last night, and that all that the O-lineman missed was the first team meeting of camp. Cherilus does face a review under the Personal Conduct Policy for getting into it recently at a bar. He was placed on a year of pre-trial probation and has to pay restitution to a man who allegedly was injured during the fight.
