LB Davis May Make the Move from Middle to Strong Side

As the Lions continue to tweak the roster as camp continues, there is talk about a possible position change for linebacker Buster Davis. MLive.com is reporting that Davis may move from the middle LB spot to the strong side spot if he makes the final roster. The report says that the Lions need a player that is a big hitter as well as a run stuffer, and Davis could fit that bill. Davis is 5-9, 23, but d-coordinator Joe Barry has said in the past he can do the job if called upon. Davis was a third-round pick of the Cardinals last season, but was cut in camp and the Lions picked him up and now he may play a part in the defense this season.
