CB Wilson Out for hte Year w/ Achilles’ tendon

The injury bug has hit the Lions, as today the team announced that CB Stanley Wilson will miss the season after tearing his achilles’ tendon.  The four-year vet was hurt in the teams 13-10 preseason win vs the Giants at Ford Field on Thursday night.  Wilson started the first five games at right corner last season but went on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury in November. He has played 32 games, including nine starts, in three seasons with the Lions.
