The Lions improved to 2-and-0 on the exhibition season with a 27-10 victory over the Bengals in Cincinnati.  Detroit opened the scoring with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Jon Kitna to Calvin Johnson in the first quarter.  The reserves also played well, as Dan Orlovsky went 11-for-22 for 137 yards and Drew Stanton tossed a 50-yard TD pass to Brandon Middleton and ran for another score in the fourth quarter.  The defense also played well, recording a sack and blocked field goal while keeping pressure on Bengals QB Carson Palmer.
