Stanton Out A Month With Sprained Thumb

As Matt Loede had previously reported here at Lions Gab, Detroit Lions reserve quarterback Drew Stanton had injured his thumb during a team practice on Thursday; according to the Associated Press, Stanton is expected to miss the final two remaining preseason games and the first 2 games of the Lions’ regular season with a sprained thumb; prior to his injury, Stanton had a good start, going 7-of-8 for 85 yards and a touchdown.
