Lions Re-Sign Cason, Release WR Middleton

The Lions have made a roster move to bolster the return game, as they have re-signed running back Aveion Cason and released receiver Brandon Middleton. Detroit had waived Cason earlier in the year and reached an injury settlement with him. This week was the first time Cason was eligible to return to the Lions’ roster.
