The today released cornerback Brian Kelly. Kelly, who is in his 11th season, had signed a three-year free-agent contract in March. Kelly had just 30 tackles and zero interceptions this season. He had 22 interceptions in 10 seasons with the Buccaneers, including a career-high eight in 2002.

To replace Kelly on the roster, Detroit signed cornerback Dexter Wynn on Tuesday. Terms of Wynn’s contract were not disclosed. Wynn has played in 51 career games for the Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles.
