According to a league source, Eagles general manager Tom Heckert wants “no part” of the Lions assistant general manager position. Heckert, who has been rumored to be leaving the Eagles organization for the last couple of years, would want more influence in personnel matters and it’s clear that GM Martin Mayhew will be running the show in Detroit.
