Looks like former Lions GM Matt Millen is looking for some cash from his former team. Today’s MLive.com has the story about Millen looking to get money from the Lions.
It’s not surprising that former Lions president Matt Millen isn’t talking these days. Millen will have plenty to say as part of NBC’s Super Bowl coverage on Sunday, but Millen has not been available for questions during Super Bowl week. There’s a good reason for that. Since he was fired last September, Millen has not been paid by the Lions and he believes he’s still owed $12 million on the remaining two-plus years of his contract. It’s a legal issue that will likely be resolved by arbitration and that’s exactly why Millen isn’t talking now. A source with knowledge of the situation said Millen was probably advised by his legal counsel not to answer any questions concerning his time in Detroit.
