Today’s Detroit Free Press reports that the Lions played host to possible number one draft pick QB Matthew Stafford. Here is the report from the paper:
The Lions hosted a special guest for dinner Thursday night: Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford. The potential No. 1 pick in the draft dined at an Indianapolis steakhouse with the Lions brass: president Tom Lewand, general manager Martin Mayhew, senior personnel executive James (Shack) Harris, coach Jim Schwartz and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan.
