Lions Thinking of Moving Jeff Backus From Tackle to Guard

The Detroit News is reporting that Lions GM Martin Mayhew says that the Lions are considering moving Jeff Backus from tackle to guard. If the team does make that move, it could mean that the team will make a run at a tackle with the first overall pick in the draft on April 25th. Could Jason Smith (Baylor) or Eugene Monroe (Virginia) be in the teams plans?
