The Lions are looking at pass catchers, as the team has talked to former Raiders WR Ronald Curry. He came to town to talk to the team on Wednesday. He could be an option for the club as the number two or three wide out. He spent his first seven seasons in Oakland, and last season, he had just 19 catches for 181 yards. His best season was 2006 with 62 catches, and had 55 catches in 2007.

I think signing a guy like Curry might not be a bad move. They clearly need a decent complement to Calvin Johnson. But I’d rather take a chance on a guy like Curry or Bryant, than use a high draft choice for another receiver.
