The Lions have hired ex-Ravens scout Jeremiah Washburn as an assistant offensive line coach. New Lions coach Jim Schwartz announced Washburn’s hiring today. Washburn joins the Lions after spending six seasons working in the player personnel department for the Ravens. For the past four seasons, Washburn was the Ravens’ area scout for the Southwest. In 2002, Washburn entered the NFL as a football operations assistant with the Carolina Panthers. He was a three-year guard at Arkansas.
