Lions Sign Former Packers DE Jason Hunter

Bears Packers Football
The Lions have themselves another defensive end, as Scout.com reports that the team has come to terms with former Green Bay Packers defensive end Jason Hunter.

The veteran defensive end was cut recently by the Packers after signing with them in 2006 and playing in 42 games as a reserve defensive lineman.

Hunter was not the best of fits for Green Bay’s new 3-4 defense, while the Lions run a 4-3 as their primary defensive alignment.
Last season, the 25-year-old former Appalachian State player recorded two sacks and nine tackles.
