Booth Newspapers reports that new Lions coach Jim Schwartz is a big believer in moving the team out of town for a bit for camp:

According to sources close to the team, Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is a big believer in moving the team out of town for a portion of training camp and there appears to be little doubt the Lions will depart Allen Park next season. There are three major issues, though, that have to be resolved. The first major factor is money. The Lions want to make sure they can house the players and find excellent practice conditions without having to commit a lot of cash to upgrading the facilities (like they had to do at Saginaw Valley). The hope is to sign a long-term deal with a college or university and any necessary funds would either be shared or offset.
