The Lions say quarterback Matthew Stafford has undergone successful surgery on his right knee. Stafford had what the Lions called minor surgery on Tuesday. He was placed on injured reserve last week after a physical exam revealed he wouldn’t be ready to play in Sunday’s season finale against Chicago.
