Lions Sign CC Brown
The Lions and free agent safety CC Brown reportedly agreed to terms and completed a contract this afternoon. The Lions haven’t officially announced the roster move yet. Brown is expected to come in and compete with Marvin White, Ko Simpson, Marquand Manuel and Daniel Bullocks for the started strong safety position.
Free Agent Safety CC Brown to Visit Allen Park on Monday
The Lions will host free agent and six year veteran CC Brown on Monday. Brown played with the Giants in 2009 but lost his position after he struggled in coverage against the Eagles. He is a physical in-the-box style safety that is limited in deep coverage.
