LB Levy Misses 6th Day of Practice with Back Tightness

The Detroit Free Press says that LB DeAndre Levy missed another practice on Saturday with tightness in his back:

Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy missed his sixth day of practice Saturday with tightness in his back. Although coach Jim Schwartz is being careful with the injury and has said he is confident in Levy’s ability, Levy is concerned about missing so much practice time and falling behind. Levy had to watch from the sidelines again Saturday as his teammates had a spirited open practice at Ford Field.” Levy is becoming a full-time starter in the demanding position of middle linebacker. He also wants to develop a better chemistry with linebackers Julian Peterson and especially Zack Follett, who is expected to start for the first time.
