Rookie CB Berry’s season over; to have shoulder surgery

The season is over for rookie Aaron Berry as he will have surgery on his shoulder.

Lions cornerback Aaron Berry will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder after re-aggravating a college injury in his first NFL game. Berry, an undrafted rookie out of Pitt, started at nickel cornerback and made an interception in the Lions’ season-opening loss to the Bears, but he left twice with shoulder problems. He will been placed on the injured-reserved list.
