Two Lions fined for hits in the Jets game

Lions ORG Stephen Peterman and LB Julian Peterson have been fined by the NFL for hits in the Week Nine loss to the Jets.
Peterman was fined $10,000 for two chop-block penalties. Peterman will appeal the fine.

Peterson was fined $7,500 for a late hit on Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson and will not appeal. “It’s bad enough to get the penalty and everybody thinks I lost the game for us, but now I get fined on top of it,” Peterson told MLive.com
