Lions Visit with North Carolina LB Bruce Carter

The Detroit News reports that the Lions have spoken to North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter

North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter visited the Lions yesterday. A for-sure first-round pick until he blew out his knee. He is still projected to go as early as the third round, but it will depend on how the medical tests come out. And we won’t know anything about that until the draft. If he goes third round or better, the tests came out good. Still expected to work out for the Lions this month are Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray, Viginia Union tackle David Mims, Fresno State linebacker Chris Carter and Syracuse linebacker Doug Hogue.
