Posted in The Lions announced the hiring of Joe Kelleher as the team’s BLESTO scout.
A former intern in the Lions’ Football Operations Department, Kelleher interned with BLESTO in 2009 before a stint with National Football Scouting and the Scouting Combine. Kelleher replaces Dennis Gentry, a former running back with the Chicago Bears whose contract was not renewed.
BLESTO is one of two national scouting services (National is the other) that provide reports on prospects to subscribing NFL scouting departments to assist in the draft process.
