Lions with Interest in a LB – Duran and Tulloch at the Top of the List

Look for the Lions to make their first pitch to a linebacker, with Justin Durant of Jacksonville and Stephen Tulloch of Tennessee the top two candidates according to Mike O’Hara of FoxsportsDetroit.

A source familiar with the Lions’ plans said Durant rates ahead of Tulloch because of his athleticism and position flexibility. Durant can play outside and inside, which gives him the ability to be an every-down linebacker. Tulloch is strictly a middle linebacker.

Age is not a factor. Tulloch turned 26 in January. Durant will be 26 in September.
