Lions ‘Aggressively’ Pursuing Stephen Tulloch

Per the National Football Post, the Lions are aggressively pursuing MLB Stephen Tulloch, the top available linebacker in the 2011 free agent class.  The move is not unexpected, in fact many considered it a forgone conclusion that the former Titan would land in Detroit.

Tulloch is very familiar with the Lions’ defense from his time playing under Coach Schwartz in Tennessee.  Tulloch also said earlier this offseason that he’d love to play in Detroit on account of the dominating defensive line and excellent coaching staff.

Tulloch’s arrival would move DeAndre Levy to one of the outside linebacker positions, potentially the weak side where his playmaking ability would provide a huge upgrade over last seasons’ starters on the outside.
