Detroit Free Press: Lions Out of Hunt for Tulloch

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press tweeted the Lions are out of the Tulloch bidding this morning.  Reports of Tulloch and the Lions were heating up last night with Gil Brandt reporting it was close to a done deal.  However, word of the Packers’ Nick Barnett was also heating up last night, possibly as a cheaper alternative to Tulloch.

The Lions are believed to be competing with the Eagles and Titans for Tulloch, and John Clayton of ESPN reports the Lions are in the running for Jonathan Joseph.  Is the move away from Tulloch a sign that Joseph is in play?  Time will tell, but it seems Tulloch is on his way out of the Lions’ plans.

“it seems” Tulloch is out of the Lions plans?

Since when is one tweet taken so seriously?

Is getting a story first more important than getting it right?

Here, let’s start another rumor: Lions trade for Tom Brady, who then convinces Barry Sanders to come out of retirement. If I say it on twitter, will folks take it seriously?

Well it’s obvious since they’ve signed Justin Durant from my Bears.
