Source: NFL will not punish Suh for latest incident

After some of passengers in Ndamukong Suh’s car told police he was driving recklessly but was more concerned about protecting his image than attending to their injuries after his accident in Portland this past weekend, it would seem plausable the NFL would look into the situation.

According to Nate Davis of USA Today, Steve Wyche said on Tuesday night’s NFL Total Access that the league is “monitoring fallout” from the crash and “plans to let the legal process play out and not intervene.”

There may not be any fallout considering Portland police have no plans to re-open Suh’s case. He was not impaired and was cooperative after the wreck, and his passengers only amended their statements in the days following the incident.

Per a league source, Wyche reported, “nothing that Suh has done, at this moment, appears to violate the NFL’s personal conduct policy.”
