Louis Delmas Underwent Knee Surgery on Saturday; Considered Day-to-Day

Safety Louis Delmas, who missed his third game, had knee surgery Saturday, coach Jim Schwartz confirmed after Sunday’s game, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News.

“I guess you could say he’s day to day,” Schwartz said. “You could call it a minor scope on his knee (arthroscope). Barring anything that comes out of this game, we don’t have anybody that’s more than day to day.”

Delmas suffered a Grade 2 tear of his MCL on Thanksgiving and hasn’t been able to play since. He seemed close the last two weeks, but clearly, something still wasn’t right.
