The Detroit Free Press reports that OT Corey Hilliard will sign his one-year tender with the team.
Offensive tackle Corey Hilliard will sign his restricted free agent tender on Monday and take part in the Detroit Lions’ off-season workout program. Hilliard played in all 16 games and made one start at right tackle last year. He is expected to compete for a backup job this fall along with Jason Fox and Johnny Culbreath. The Lions gave Hilliard an original-round tender worth $1.26 million before the start of free agency. Linebacker DeAndre Levy also plans to sign his second-round tender ($1.93 million) and take part in voluntary workouts.
