Lions cornerback Aaron Berry was arrested for the second time in a month on Saturday.
Berry was arrested in his hometown of Harrisburg (Pa.) and charged with three counts of simple assault for allegedly brandishing a firearm.
Berry was arrested last month for DUI, two counts of accidents involving unattended vehicles and two counts of failure to stop and give information. He was set to enter a Pennsylvania diversionary program on that incident. It’s unclear how his latest arrest affects those plans.
“We are extremely disappointed by the reports involving Aaron Berry,” the Lions said in a statement Sunday. “We are currently gathering more information and will have further comment when appropriate”
