RB Jahvid Best Starts the Season on the PUP List

The Lions made a series of expected moves on Monday, as they put running back Jahvid Best as well as rookie CB Chris Greenwood on the physically unable to perform list.

OL Bill Nagy and Jonathan Scott have both landed on IR, ending their season.

Best has been out since Week 6 of the 2011 season with a concussion. Greenwood missed all of training camp after having abdominal surgery. Both players will be unavailable the first six weeks of the regular season.

Nagy, who the Lions claimed off waivers from the Cowboys last week, was expected to miss the season with an ankle injury. Scott hurt his knee early in training camp.
