Lions safety Louis Delmas injured the same knee he had surgery on in the beginning of August during the Lions’ 28-24 victory against the Seattle Seahawks.
Delmas sustained that injury during the third quarter and was examined by team doctors on the sidelines. He was then taken into Detroit’s locker room, and doctors determined his left knee was not healthy enough to play on.
“Delmas left with a, I don’t want to call it a re-injury of his knee, but an injury to his knee,” Schwartz said. “He wasn’t able to return. We’ll have some tests tomorrow to see where it is.”
